Secretary of War to Travel to Philippines for ASEAN Defense Ministers’ Meeting-Plus
According to the Department of War’s public schedule for October 26, the Secretary of War travels to the Philippines to reaffirm America’s commitment to peace through strength in the Pacific and will participate in the ASEAN Defense Ministers’ Meeting-Plus (ADMM-Plus).The same schedule shows the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff traveling and taking part in a fireside chat with Gen. Randall Reed, commander of U.S. Transportation Command, while the Deputy Secretary and Vice Chairman have no public or media events.
