南卡罗来纳州女子涉伪造逾1万美元被捕：州保险厅请求执法部门立案
南卡罗来纳州执法部门（SLED）10月21日通报，Shante Elizabeth Bethel已被控一项伪造罪，涉案金额1万美元以上。通报称，此案应南卡罗来纳州保险厅请求，由SLED立案调查，相关指控已于10月19日执行。
Bethel已被收押至Lexington County拘留中心。SLED表示，案件将由南卡罗来纳州保险厅方面负责起诉，指控细节以逮捕令所载为准。Bethel目前所受为指控，依法推定无罪。
South Carolina Woman Charged With Forgery in Insurance Department Case
The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) said Oct. 21 that Shante Elizabeth Bethel has been charged with forgery involving a value of $10,000 or more. The charge, filed Oct. 19, 2026, followed an investigation SLED conducted at the request of the South Carolina Department of Insurance.
Bethel was booked into the Lexington County Detention Center. SLED said the case will be prosecuted by the South Carolina Department of Insurance. She is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
