Kamala Harris Campaigns in Milwaukee on October 26 for Gubernatorial Candidate David Crowley, Launching Canvassers on the Northwest Side

Former Vice President Kamala Harris arrived in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on October 26 to campaign with Democratic nominee for governor David Crowley, the Milwaukee County Executive. The two traveled to the Democratic Party of Wisconsin office on Milwaukee's northwest side to launch canvassers ahead of a rally and town hall later in the evening; Harris also hosted a town hall with the NAACP, with eight days to go until the November 3 election and early voting underway in Wisconsin.

"You know him better than most. By character, by conduct, his experience, his passion, his sense of purpose. He's the kind of elected leader that we so desperately need in these most powerful positions," Harris said of Crowley. She criticized Crowley's opponent, Republican Congressman Tom Tiffany, and her 2024 opponent, President Donald Trump, for cutting billions of dollars from Medicaid and SNAP, and said the election is also about an era in which governors may refuse to certify an election.

Crowley called Harris "a huge mentor of mine" and told supporters, "In the next eight days, I am laying it all out on the field," citing his record of delivering for Milwaukee County and communities across Wisconsin. "I'm in this fight for my family, for your family, for the entire future of Wisconsin. We have to do everything we can to defeat Tom Tiffany, because in the past 15 years, this is the best chance that we've had."
