夏威夷州土地与自然资源部州立公园司10月26日宣布，位于瓦胡岛的马拉卡哈纳州立休闲区（Mālaekahana State Recreation Area）内的城堡海滩停车场即日起延长封闭，以进行改善工程，施工当天开始，预计2027年上半年完工。

Hawaii Malaekahana Castle Beach Parking Lot Closes for Construction Starting October 26; to Be Expanded to 56 Spaces
The Hawaii Department of Land and Natural Resources Division of State Parks announced on October 26 the extended closure of the Castle Beach parking lot at Mālaekahana State Recreation Area on Oahu. The improvement work starts the same day and is estimated to be completed in the first half of 2027.
The construction project will upgrade and enlarge the current parking area to include 56 parking spaces and three ADA-compliant parking stalls, for greater accessibility for all visitors. The improvement contract, valued at $150,000, was awarded to Ke Nui Construction.
The closure is expected to last for months. The department released photographs of the Castle Beach parking lot for reference, and directed media inquiries to the department's communications office.
