Ogletree Deakins Adds Three Attorneys in Chicago: Shareholder Christina Wernick Among Trio from Laner Muchin
In Chicago, Cook County, Illinois, labor and employment law firm Ogletree Deakins announced on October 26 that three attorneys from Laner Muchin Ltd. have joined its Chicago office: Christina Wernick as a shareholder, Megan Wilkes as of counsel, and Emily Chramiec as an associate.
Wernick, a labor and employment attorney with more than 20 years of experience, focuses on traditional labor and prevailing wage laws, with particular emphasis on the construction industry, advising management on collective bargaining, grievance and arbitration proceedings, multiemployer bargaining, and union-related due diligence in transactions. She earned her law degree from DePaul University College of Law and was recognized in the 2026 edition of The Best Lawyers in America for Employment Law – Management.
Jennifer Colvin, office managing shareholder in Chicago, said the three attorneys each add experience that Chicago clients will benefit from right away, strengthening the firm's service offering for employers across Illinois.
