10月25日，位于塞勒姆的皮博迪·埃塞克斯博物馆开始新一轮中国民居“荫余堂”导览，导览时间为上午11时15分至下午4时15分，展期持续至2027年6月29日。荫余堂是一座从中国徽州地区完整迁移至美国的清代民居，观众可在导览中走进真实的木结构宅院，了解中国家庭的生活空间、家族观念与建筑工艺。对波士顿地区的华人家庭而言，这是一处可以带孩子实地认识中国传统居住文化的长期展览，也为周末的博物馆之行提供了具体主题。
Tours of Chinese House 'Yin Yu Tang' Open from October 25 in the Boston Area: On View at the Peabody Essex Museum in Salem
On October 25, the Peabody Essex Museum in Salem began a new round of tours of the Chinese house "Yin Yu Tang," with tour hours from 11:15 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. and the run continuing through June 29, 2027. Yin Yu Tang is a Qing-dynasty residence relocated intact to the United States from China's Huizhou region; on the tours, visitors can walk into a real timber-frame house and learn about Chinese family living spaces, family values and building craft. For Chinese families in the Boston area, it is a long-running exhibition where children can encounter traditional Chinese residential culture in person, and it gives a weekend museum trip a concrete theme.
