Philadelphia Fall Wedding Expo on October 25: Rivers Casino Gathers Local Wedding Vendors, Honeymoon Grand Prize Offered
On October 25, the Philadelphia Fall Wedding Expo was held at Rivers Casino from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., billed as Philadelphia's largest fall wedding show. The expo gathered businesses from across the local wedding industry — bridal gowns, formalwear, photography, videography, catering, ceremony and reception venues, lodging, DJs and entertainment, honeymoon and destination-wedding planning, event production and luxury transportation; attendees could taste food and desserts on site, learn about the latest wedding trends, and enter drawings for prizes including a romantic weekend getaway in a river-view suite. The organizer said that whether couples are just starting to plan or putting the finishing touches on their wedding, they could find inspiration, exclusive offers and professional advice at the show. Attendees 21 and over could also receive dining vouchers for use inside the casino. For engaged couples in the Philadelphia area, this expo on a Sunday afternoon offered a chance to see the city's wedding vendors in a single day, and pressed the fast-forward button on fall wedding-season preparations.
