Physician-Founded Wellness Beverage Brand Calmara Lands in Ten Keg N Bottle Stores in San Diego
In San Diego, San Diego County, California, on October 26, Fast Moving Consumer Goods announced that Calmara Beverage Company, which it incubates, has received a purchase order from Southern California beverage retailer Keg N Bottle, and its debut flavor, "Pineapple Zen," will enter the retailer's San Diego County stores.
Keg N Bottle has 10 stores in San Diego County, in places including La Jolla, La Mesa, National City, Lemon Grove and Rancho Santa Fe. Calmara was founded by practicing interventional cardiologist Dr. Carlos Sanchez; it is a 12-ounce functional wellness beverage with 150 milligrams of caffeine per can from green tea and green coffee beans, built around a healthy-living concept.
Fast Moving Consumer Goods CEO Sandro Piancone said shelf space with a respected retailer is a key step for an emerging consumer brand, and that the order takes Calmara into brick-and-mortar stores in San Diego County for the first time, in addition to its own website and TikTok Shop. The company did not disclose the order amount or specific shelf dates.
