Dallas Arboretum Holds 'Little Adventurers' on October 26: Autumn Display Enters Its Final Week
The Dallas Arboretum will hold its 'Little Adventurers' activity on Monday, October 26, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Children's Adventure Garden, welcoming families with young children; after the activity, visitors can also stroll through the garden's pumpkin displays and take in the autumn atmosphere all in one morning. The Arboretum's autumn celebration runs through November 1, and Monday, October 26 marks the start of its final week; the garden is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and the colorful gardens, carefully arranged pumpkin houses, and autumn landscapes are all at their best viewing stage during this period, while Monday avoids the weekend crowds and is better suited to a leisurely visit. Also on October 26, from 11 a.m. to noon, the Arboretum will host a Dallas College culinary demonstration at 'A Tasteful Place,' where visitors can watch a cooking demonstration while enjoying the garden and pick up ideas for pairing seasonal ingredients. The Arboretum reminds visitors to check the garden calendar before their trip to confirm that day's program schedule and ticket information, as capacity and entry details for some activities may change at any time. For families in the Dallas area, the October 26 'Little Adventurers' is a low-barrier outing for parents and children: kids can take part in hands-on outdoor activities while parents relax in the autumn garden, making it a worthwhile trip for the final week of fall.
