San Diego City Council to Weigh Temporary Data Center Moratorium on October 27
The San Diego City Council, in San Diego County, California, is set to consider a temporary moratorium on data centers on Tuesday morning, October 27: an agenda preview issued on October 23 by the Office of Council President Joe LaCava lists Item S401, a Temporary Moratorium on Data Center Development, Establishment, Intensification, and Expansion, as anticipated to be heard on Tuesday morning.
The council first meets on Monday, October 26, at 10 a.m. for a special session and a regular meeting. Under an updated schedule, the consent agenda will be heard at the Monday special session, while the data center moratorium moves to Tuesday morning.
