纽约华裔被领养者组织10月25日总督岛秋季节聚会摘南瓜赏秋叶
10月25日，纽约的华裔被领养者社群组织在中国城附近集合，乘渡轮前往总督岛，参加一场秋季节日聚会。聚会上午10时10分在南街10号7号码头集合，搭乘10时30分的渡轮上岛，目的地是岛上的南瓜角，参加者须提前预订免费渡轮票。活动免费参加，主办方建议随缘捐赠，参加者可在南瓜角每人领取一个南瓜，须自带袋子，岛上还有鬼屋游览、秋叶漫步等秋季活动，餐饮需另外付费。大家上岛后先一起逛一逛、感受秋日氛围，再各自挑选南瓜，在轻松交谈中度过周日上午。这场聚会仅限华裔被领养者参加，是一次小范围的社群相聚，让有着相似成长经历的人在秋日里一起摘南瓜、散步、聊天，分享各自的故事与近况。主办方提醒参加者准时到码头集合，不要错过渡轮。

New York Chinese adoptee community gathers on Governors Island October 25 for a fall festival outing
On October 25, a New York community organization for Chinese adoptees gathered near Chinatown and took the ferry to Governors Island for a fall festival outing. The group met at 10:10 a.m. at Slip 7, 10 South Street, and rode the 10:30 a.m. ferry to the island, bound for Pumpkin Point. Attendance was free, with optional donations suggested; each participant could pick one pumpkin at Pumpkin Point and needed to bring their own bag, and the island also offered a haunted house and fall-foliage walks, with food at extra cost. After arriving, the group strolled together to take in the autumn atmosphere before choosing pumpkins, spending a Sunday morning in relaxed conversation. The gathering was limited to Chinese adoptees — a small community get-together where people with similar life stories could pick pumpkins, walk and talk, sharing their experiences and news. Organizers reminded participants to arrive at the pier on time so as not to miss the ferry.
