On October 25, the Denver Broncos made six roster moves ahead of their road game against the Arizona Cardinals. The team activated outside linebacker Jonathon Cooper, who had been suspended by the league and was reinstated the previous weekend, and activated running back Jonah Coleman from injured reserve. Outside linebacker Jonah Elliss and running back Tyler Badie were placed on injured reserve, ruling both out for at least four games, and safety Taylor Rapp and cornerback Sean Fresch were elevated from the practice squad to the game-day roster. Rapp's elevation was tied to Talanoa Hufanga being out with an ankle injury. Denver needed to withstand the Cardinals on the road to protect its place in the playoff race.
