凤凰城地区坦佩10月25日办玛格丽特节：多家酒吧餐厅比拼最佳调酒

Tempe Margarita Festival in the Phoenix Area on October 25: Bars and Restaurants Compete for the Best Margarita
From noon to 6 p.m. on October 25, the city of Tempe in the Phoenix area held the Tempe Margarita Festival, where some 2,500 margarita lovers gathered to taste and vote for the best margarita in Tempe. An entry ticket included ten 3.5-ounce margarita samples poured by Tempe's top bars and restaurants, ranging from sweet and smooth to spicy and bold to wildly creative; with a sampling card and voting chip in hand, attendees tasted their way through the lineup and voted for the champion, with the winning bar or restaurant taking home a $1,000 prize and best-margarita bragging rights. The festival also featured a live DJ, street food vendors, a beer garden and a raffle for a dream trip to Mexico, with a portion of proceeds supporting children's charities. Organizers said the festival was as much a community gathering as a competition, where guests could dance, eat and enter the raffle between tastings. In Tempe, a key city in the Phoenix metropolitan area, the festival turned a local restaurant rivalry into a public celebration and added color to the fall weekend.
