Pittsburgh: Society of Actuaries ImpACT Annual Meeting Opens Oct. 25
On October 25, the Society of Actuaries' 2026 ImpACT annual meeting opened in Pittsburgh, running from October 25 to 28. Under the theme "Create Impact in the City of Bridges," the meeting, aimed at actuaries of all practice areas and career stages, featured high-impact keynote sessions, networking activities and receptions, with topics covering career development, emerging topics, general insurance, health insurance, investments, risk management, life insurance and annuities, pensions, and professionalism. Keynote speakers included economist Allison Schrager, and attendees could earn up to 20.1 continuing education credits, making it an important fall professional gathering for the actuarial industry.
