Cody Wyoming Temple Dedication Held Oct. 25, Elder Gilbert Presides Over the Morning Session
On October 25, the newly built temple in Cody, Wyoming will be dedicated, with the ceremony held at 10 a.m. and rebroadcast at 2 p.m., presided over by Elder Clark G. Gilbert of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles. Located near the east entrance of Yellowstone National Park, the Cody Wyoming Temple takes its design inspiration from local nature and cultural heritage, with the Wyoming state flower, the Indian paintbrush, appearing in its art glass and decorative painting. The temple held a media day on August 24 and was open to the public from August 27 to September 12, free of charge with no reservation needed, on weekdays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. After the dedication, the temple will officially enter service for members in Cody and the surrounding area.
