Ocean City, Maryland Wraps Up Sunfest on Oct. 25 as 50th Anniversary Celebration Ends With Music and Markets
On October 25, Ocean City, Maryland's Sunfest fall festival reaches its closing day, wrapping up the four-day celebration that began October 22 with a final day of music, crafts and food. This year marks Sunfest's 50th anniversary; during the festival the Ocean City boardwalk area has been filled with live music, craft stalls and food offerings, making it one of the liveliest weekends of the fall in the seaside town. Organizers note that the October boardwalk is less crowded, making strolling, tasting food and browsing crafts more leisurely, which has made Sunfest a favorite fall outing for many families. The October 25 finale closes the four-day 50th anniversary celebration and adds further energy to Ocean City's autumn tourism season.
