Victory, Vermont Hosts CircumVictory Trail Run on Oct. 25, 18 Miles Through Northeast Kingdom Trails
On October 25, Victory, Vermont will host the CircumVictory trail run, with competitors taking to the trails of the Victory Hill Trail Club. The course is a single 18-mile loop over singletrack, logging roads and dirt roads, with about 2,500 feet of total climbing — a test of endurance and mountain technique. A mountain bike division is also offered; the top three men and women receive prizes, and all finishers get a commemorative beer glass. The event is organized by the nonprofit Victory Hill Trail Club, with entry fees and sponsorships going entirely to trail maintenance; aid stations will be set up along the course and food will be sold afterward. Revived from the old CircumBurke challenge, the event drew about 160 runners and riders last year.
