西班牙马德里迁徙节：数千只羊穿城改道，避开太阳门广场住房抗议营地
西班牙首都马德里10月25日（周日）举行一年一度的迁徙节（Fiesta de la Trashumancia），数千只绵羊和山羊在铃声中穿过市中心街道，吸引大批游客与市民围观。今年羊群临时改变了传统路线，绕开市中心的太阳门广场（Puerta del Sol）——住房活动人士已在那里扎营抗议。
这波住房抗议自上月以来持续升温，导火索是一名87岁老妇被逐出她在马德里市中心住了七十年的家。玛丽亚·德尔·卡门·阿瓦斯卡尔（María del Carmen Abascal，人称「Maricarmen」）被驱逐后不久在医院去世，引发公众愤慨。

Madrid Transhumance Festival Reroutes Thousands of Sheep to Avoid Housing Protest Camp
Thousands of sheep and goats thronged the streets of Madrid on Sunday, October 25, for the annual Transhumance Festival, drawing large crowds of tourists and locals. This year the festival took a detour from its traditional route to avoid the Puerta del Sol, the central square where housing activists have set up a protest camp.
The housing protests have gathered pace since last month, fueled by outrage over the eviction of an 87-year-old woman from the downtown Madrid home where she had lived for seven decades. María del Carmen Abascal, widely known as Maricarmen, died in hospital shortly after her eviction.
The festival recreates the pastoral practice of moving livestock to new grazing grounds; Madrid sits on an ancient migration route. Traditional grazing also clears brush and other flammable undergrowth, reducing the spread of wildfires. But transhumance has been in decline since around 1950, as generations of young people left Spain's interior for work in the cities. Madrid has held the festival since 1994, and today a small group of farmers keeps the tradition alive.
