莫斯科市历史保护奖揭晓：爱达荷大学历史区入选国家名录成最大亮点
据 10月24日刊发的莫斯科当地报道，爱达荷州莫斯科市历史保护委员会在 10月22日（周四）的例会上以全票确认了本年度六个历史保护项目的获奖名单，其中最大的亮点是爱达荷大学历史区（University of Idaho Historic District）本月早些时候正式列入《国家史迹名录》。为这一入选工作了三年的六位爱达荷大学教授、学生和顾问获得表彰，他们的申报工作历时三年。此外，获奖者还包括莫斯科老居民、律师、社区志愿者、历史保护委员会长期成员杰克·波特；南黑斯街 500 号住宅（加建门廊）；南华盛顿街 405 号市中心建筑（2025 年 6月一辆皮卡撞损后按历史风貌重建砖墙）；北亚当斯街 216 号住宅（二层加建及符合历史街区风貌的外立面细节）。莫斯科年度兰花历史保护奖颁奖仪式将于 11月12日晚 7时至 9时在 1912 中心二楼勒孔特礼堂举行，免费向公众开放。
Moscow, Idaho, Historic Preservation Awards Announced: University of Idaho Historic District's National Register Listing Is the Highlight
According to a Moscow local report published Oct. 24, the City of Moscow Historic Preservation Commission unanimously confirmed this year's six Orchid Award winning projects at its Oct. 22 meeting, with the highlight being the University of Idaho Historic District's listing earlier this month in the National Register of Historic Places. Six University of Idaho professors, students and consultants who worked three years on the nomination were honored. Other honorees include longtime Moscow resident, attorney, community volunteer and commission member Jack Porter; a porch addition at 500 South Hayes Street; the downtown building at 405 South Washington Street, whose brick wall was rebuilt in historic character after a pickup truck crash in June 2025; and a home at 216 North Adams Street with a second-story addition and period-appropriate facade details. The annual Orchid Awards ceremony will be held Nov. 12 from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Lecompte Auditorium on the second floor of the 1912 Center, free and open to the public.
