亚太裔明尼苏达人领袖颁奖晚会10月24日举行主题“美国：250年及未来”

Asian Pacific Minnesotans Leadership Awards Dinner Set for October 24 Under the Theme "America: 250 and Beyond"
On Saturday, October 24, one of the Twin Cities Asian community's signature events — the Asian Pacific Minnesotans Leadership Awards Dinner — will be held under the theme "America: 250 and Beyond." The dinner runs from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at Mystic Lake Center in Prior Lake, Scott County, Minnesota, with more than 800 attendees expected from over 40 Asian Pacific countries and communities, and the governor of Minnesota scheduled to attend. According to the local Chinese-language community outlet China Insight, the biennial celebration honors Asian Pacific leaders across Minnesota's public service, business, education and cultural fields. Held on the eve of America's 250th anniversary, the "250 and Beyond" theme speaks to the history and future of Asian immigrants as part of the American story. For Chinese families, students and professionals in the Twin Cities, the dinner is both a community celebration and a window for showing Asian leadership to the wider public.
