坦帕包装企业 Signode 扩大自主移动机器人产品线 仓储自动化再进一步
坦帕——全球运输包装设备与自动化供应商 Signode 10月22日在坦帕宣布，扩大其自主移动机器人（AMR）产品组合，把自动化从包装线延伸至制造与仓储环节的托盘搬运。新产品线配置包括举升机器人、托盘搬运车、平衡重叉车、前移式叉车和堆垛叉车，可覆盖多种托盘搬运需求；机器人无需固定线路或磁条导航，可自主绕行障碍物。
Signode 全球自动化副总裁 Shawn Semer 表示：「终端自动化并不在产品包装托盘化后就结束——托盘还得穿过厂房、进入仓储或分拨。扩大 AMR 产品组合，为客户提供了更多自动化搬运、连接各环节流程的方式。」该产品线与其现有的 StorFast 自动存取系统（ASRS）及仓储自动化方案互补，目前全球80多个地点已部署800多台车辆；有客户在单个仓库内集成了17台以上机器人。

Tampa-Based Signode Expands Autonomous Mobile Robot Portfolio for Warehouse Automation
Tampa — Signode, a global provider of transit packaging equipment and automation, announced in Tampa on October 22 an expanded portfolio of autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) designed to extend automation beyond the packaging line into pallet movement across manufacturing and warehouse operations. The lineup includes lifting robots, pallet trucks, counter-balanced forklifts, reach trucks and stacker forklifts, and the robots navigate without fixed lines or magnetic strips, rerouting around obstructions as they move through a facility.
"End-of-line automation doesn't stop once a product has been packaged and palletized," said Shawn Semer, Signode's vice president of global automation. "That pallet still has to move through the facility and ultimately into storage or distribution. Expanding our AMR portfolio gives customers more ways to automate those movements and connect processes across their operation." The offering complements Signode's StorFast automated storage and retrieval system (ASRS), with more than 800 vehicles deployed across over 80 locations globally; one customer has integrated more than 17 robots within a single warehouse.
Signode reports more than $2 billion in revenue, over 80 manufacturing facilities across six continents and more than 6,000 employees worldwide. The expansion underscores how, amid persistent labor shortages, warehouse and logistics automation remains a priority investment for manufacturers.
