Santa Clarita's Fourth Annual Día de los Muertos Celebration Set for Oct. 24 With Mariachi and Folklórico
The City of Santa Clarita, in Los Angeles County, California, will host its fourth annual Día de los Muertos celebration on Saturday, October 24, inviting residents to honor loved ones, celebrate Mexican traditions and enjoy an afternoon of cultural performances and family activities.

Location: Canyon Country Community Center, 18410 Sierra Highway, Santa Clarita.

Program
The celebration features live mariachi music and traditional folklórico dancing, plus Día de los Muertos crafts, face painting, games, small prize giveaways and trick-or-treating. Children can join the Youth Sports Zombie Run in the gym, while toddlers and younger children explore the Mini Monster Maze.
A highlight of the event is the Cempasúchil archway, where attendees can leave heartfelt messages in memory of loved ones. Marigolds, known as cempasúchil, are an important symbol of Día de los Muertos, traditionally used to honor and remember those who have passed away.
