国土安全部长Mullin视察北卡海岸警卫队基地：参观航空后勤中心与航空技术训练中心
美国国土安全部10月23日发布消息，部长 Markwayne Mullin 当天视察位于北卡罗来纳州 Elizabeth City 的美国海岸警卫队基地，参观航空后勤中心（Aviation Logistics Center，ALC）与航空技术训练中心（Aviation Technical Training Center，ATTC）。
陪同视察的海岸警卫队军官包括 Capt. Christian Polyak、Ed Gibbons、Capt. Mark Lay、Cmdr. Walter Fredenhagen 与 Senior Chief Lake Downham 等人。
据国土安全部介绍，航空后勤中心是海岸警卫队唯一的飞机大修与后勤保障基地，由近700名现役军人、文职人员与承包商人员组成，负责全队飞机的深度维护与供应保障；航空技术训练中心负责培训航空维修技术员（AMT）、航空电子技术员（AET）与救援游泳员（AST）等专业人员。

Secretary Mullin Visits U.S. Coast Guard Facilities in North Carolina: Aviation Logistics Center and Aviation Technical Training Center
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security announced on October 23 that Secretary Markwayne Mullin visited U.S. Coast Guard Base Elizabeth City in North Carolina, touring the Aviation Logistics Center (ALC) and the Aviation Technical Training Center (ATTC).
Coast Guard officers accompanying the visit included Capt. Christian Polyak, Ed Gibbons, Capt. Mark Lay, Cmdr. Walter Fredenhagen and Senior Chief Lake Downham.
According to the department, the Aviation Logistics Center is the Coast Guard's only aircraft depot, staffed by nearly 700 military, civilian and contractor personnel and responsible for depot-level maintenance and supply support for the service's aircraft fleet. The Aviation Technical Training Center trains aviation maintenance technicians (AMT), avionics electrical technicians (AET) and rescue swimmers (AST), among other specialties.
