肯塔基州州长办公室宣布，配合全国处方药回收日，全州多地将于10月24日（周六）设回收点，居民可将过期或不再使用的处方药交回，统一安全处置。
全国处方药回收日由美国缉毒局（DEA）牵头定期举办，旨在减少闲置处方药被误用、滥用的风险。回收活动匿名进行，不收取费用。
肯塔基州居民可通过州政府与缉毒局公布的渠道查询就近回收点的位置与开放时间。

Kentucky Holds Prescription Drug Take Back Day on Oct. 24 With Collection Sites Statewide
The Office of the Governor of Kentucky has announced that collection sites across the state will accept expired or unused prescription medications on Saturday, October 24, as part of National Prescription Drug Take Back Day.
The take-back initiative, led by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), is held regularly to reduce the risk of unused prescription drugs being misused. Collections are anonymous and free of charge.
Kentucky residents can find the locations and hours of nearby collection sites through listings published by the state and the DEA.
