皮尤调查：约三分之二美国选民对选举管理有信心，两党在非公民投票问题上差距明显

Pew Survey: About Two-Thirds of U.S. Voters Have Confidence in Election Administration, With a Wide Partisan Gap on Noncitizen Voting
A Pew Research Center survey released on October 22 found that American voters generally expect this year's midterm elections to be run and administered well. About two-thirds of voters said they are at least somewhat confident that measures are in place to prevent anyone who is ineligible from casting a ballot; majorities also expressed confidence that election workers will handle ballots securely and said the outcome will be clear after all the ballots are counted. The survey was conducted from September 28 to October 4 among 5,062 adults, including 3,917 registered voters.
The survey also found wide partisan differences on specific questions of election security. On whether noncitizens who try to vote will be stopped, 90 percent of voters backing Democratic candidates for the House expressed confidence, compared with 45 percent of those backing Republican candidates. Even so, Republican voters' confidence on this question was higher than the 35 percent recorded among Donald Trump's voters in 2024.
On the question of whether all legally qualified voters who want to vote will be able to do so, the partisan pattern reversed: 90 percent of Republican voters expressed confidence, compared with 72 percent of Democratic voters. Pew said that, overall, similar majorities of voters backing both parties expect the elections to be administered well, with the main disagreements concentrated on specific aspects of election security.
