丹麦政府大转向：放弃欧盟豁免申请2029年8月前终结水貂养殖
哥本哈根——丹麦政府 10 月 23 日宣布，不再为水貂养殖申请欧盟豁免，这意味着这个曾经的全球最大水貂皮生产国将在 2029 年 8 月前彻底终结水貂养殖业。欧盟 2025 年将美洲水貂列入入侵物种名单，相关禁令将于 2027 年 8 月 7 日生效；丹麦为业者设置了两年过渡期，宽限至2029年8月。
丹麦自然部长克里斯蒂安·拉布耶格·马德森（ChristianRabjergMadsen）表示："企业不应只因存在已久就继续存在。"丹麦曾是全球最大的水貂皮生产国，2020 年因变异新冠疫情扑杀了约 1,500 万只水貂；如今全国仅剩 7 家养殖场、约1.5万只水貂。

Denmark in U-Turn: Drops EU Exemption Bid, Will End Mink Farming by August 2029
COPENHAGEN — The Danish government announced on October 23 that it will no longer seek an EU exemption for mink farming, meaning the once-dominant global producer will end the industry entirely by August 2029. The EU listed the American mink as an invasive species in 2025, with the ban taking effect on August 7, 2027; Denmark is giving farmers a two-year transition until August 2029.
"Businesses should not continue to exist simply because they have existed for a long time," said Nature Minister Christian Rabjerg Madsen. Denmark was once the world's largest mink-pelt producer; in 2020 it culled about 15 million mink over a mutated coronavirus.
Only seven farms with about 15,000 mink remain. Notably, Finland applied for an exemption in the opposite direction last month.
