五角大楼计划明年启动格陵兰岛军事设施扩建将评估两处机场跑道改造
华盛顿——据美国《防务一号》（Defense One）10 月 20 日援引美防务高级官员报道，五角大楼计划于2027 年启动格陵兰岛军事设施的扩建工程。央视新闻客户端 10 月 23 日转述了这一消息。
报道称，美方将利用这个冬季评估具体的扩建方案，目标明年动工。其中，东部梅斯特斯维（Mestersvig）机场与南部纳萨尔苏瓦克（Narsarsuaq）的跑道改造正在评估中，目标是支撑运输机与战斗机的部署。
背景是 9 月 22 日美国、丹麦与格陵兰三方签署的安全协议，允许美方在格陵兰设立新的防务区域。格陵兰地处北极航道要冲，其战略地位近年来持续上升。

Pentagon Plans to Break Ground on Greenland Military Expansion Next Year; Two Airfields Under Assessment
WASHINGTON — The Pentagon plans to start expanding military facilities in Greenland in 2027, Defense One reported on October 20, citing senior U.S. defense officials. CCTV's news app relayed the report on October 23.
According to the report, the U.S. will use this winter to assess expansion options with the goal of breaking ground next year. Runway upgrades at Mestersvig airport in the east and Narsarsuaq in the south are under evaluation, aimed at supporting transport and fighter aircraft deployments.
The backdrop is the September 22 security pact among the United States, Denmark and Greenland allowing the U.S. to establish new defense areas there. Greenland's position astride Arctic shipping routes has steadily raised its strategic profile.
