内布拉斯加州长签署行政令 统筹遗属福利申领 全国首创
内布拉斯加州州长 Pillen 签署行政令，要求州政府统筹协助居民申领联邦社会安全局（SSA）、退伍军人事务部（VA）与铁路退休委员会（RRB）等不同系统发放的遗属福利，避免家属在亲人去世后逐个机构重复奔波。
州长办公室表示，内布拉斯加是全美第一个以行政令建立此类跨系统遗属福利统筹机制的州。Pillen 同时致信另外39个州的州长，介绍内布拉斯加的做法。
签署仪式上，Adams 与 Hardin 等相关人士出席。州政府表示，新机制将指定专门人员协助遗属梳理可申领的福利项目与材料。

Nebraska Governor Signs First-in-Nation Order Coordinating Survivor Benefits
Nebraska Governor Jim Pillen has signed an executive order directing the state to coordinate help for residents claiming survivor benefits paid through separate federal systems — the Social Security Administration (SSA), the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and the Railroad Retirement Board (RRB) — so families are not forced to navigate each agency on their own after a death.
The governor's office said Nebraska is the first state in the nation to create such a cross-system survivor-benefits coordination mechanism by executive order. Pillen also sent letters to the governors of 39 other states describing Nebraska's approach.
Adams and Hardin attended the signing. The state said dedicated staff will help survivors identify the benefits they may claim and the documents required.
