Missouri Sets Duck Zones and 2026 Season Dates
The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) announced on October 21 that it has adjusted the state's duck-hunting zones and set the 2026 duck season dates. The department issued a further reminder on October 22, and state media reported the changes on October 23.
Under the new framework, the North Zone season runs October 31 to December 29; the Middle Zone runs November 7 to December 13 and December 19 to January 10; and the South Zone runs November 26 to 29 and December 7 to January 31.
MDC said the zones and dates reflect waterfowl migration patterns and hunter distribution, and urged hunters to consult the department's full season regulations before heading out.
