伊利诺伊州一学区与「好消息俱乐部」达成和解 支付逾10.5万美元
伊利诺伊州一个学区与基督教儿童福音团契旗下的「好消息俱乐部」（Good News Clubs）就课后活动场地使用争议达成和解，和解协议本周三提交联邦法院，学区将支付105,351.25美元。
该案于今年2月起诉。诉方指出，学区允许童子军（Boy Scouts）与 Girls on the Run 等团体在放学后使用学校场地，却对好消息俱乐部的同类申请设置障碍，构成区别对待。
代表诉方的自由法律顾问组织（Liberty Counsel）负责人 Mat Staver 表示，和解确认宗教团体在课后时段应享有与其他社区团体同等的场地使用权利。

Illinois District Settles With Good News Clubs for $105,351
An Illinois school district has settled a dispute with the Good News Clubs, run by Child Evangelism Fellowship, over after-school access to school facilities. The settlement, filed in federal court on Wednesday, provides for a payment of $105,351.25.
The lawsuit was filed in February. The plaintiffs argued the district allowed groups such as the Boy Scouts and Girls on the Run to use school facilities after hours while placing obstacles before the Good News Clubs' similar requests — treatment they said was discriminatory.
Mat Staver of Liberty Counsel, which represented the clubs, said the settlement confirms that religious groups are entitled to the same after-hours access as other community organizations.
