三菱电力投资4.9亿美元扩建萨凡纳工厂 新增220多个岗位
佐治亚州州长办公室宣布，三菱电力美洲公司（Mitsubishi Power Americas）将投资4.9亿美元，扩建其位于查塔姆县（Chatham County）萨凡纳（Savannah）的 Savannah Machinery Works 工厂，新增220多个工作岗位。
萨凡纳是美国东海岸最繁忙的港口之一，围绕港口的制造业与物流业是当地主要产业。三菱电力的这处工厂主要生产与维修燃气轮机等发电设备部件。
州长办公室表示，该项目将进一步扩大佐治亚州东南部沿海地区的先进制造业规模。

Mitsubishi Power to Invest $490 Million in Savannah Plant, Adding 220+ Jobs
Georgia's governor's office announced that Mitsubishi Power Americas will invest $490 million to expand its Savannah Machinery Works plant in Savannah, Chatham County, creating more than 220 new jobs.
Savannah is home to one of the busiest ports on the U.S. East Coast, and port-related manufacturing and logistics are mainstays of the local economy. The Mitsubishi Power facility produces and services components for power-generation equipment including gas turbines.
The governor's office said the project will further grow advanced manufacturing along Georgia's southeastern coast.
