纽森宣布27项赦免与30项减刑
加利福尼亚州萨克拉门托（Sacramento），州长纽森（Gavin Newsom）10月22日宣布新一批宽赦决定：给予27人赦免、为30人减刑。
赦免与减刑是州长依州宪法享有的权力。赦免可恢复被定罪者因定罪丧失的部分公民权利；减刑则缩短在押人员的刑期，部分减刑决定须经州最高法院审查后方可生效。
州长办公室在公布决定时同步发布了每位获赦免与减刑人员的基本情况说明。获减刑者后续是否获释，仍须经假释委员会等程序审理决定。

Newsom Announces 27 Pardons and 30 Commutations
SACRAMENTO, California — Governor Gavin Newsom announced a new round of clemency actions on October 22, granting 27 pardons and 30 commutations.
Pardons and commutations are powers the governor holds under the state constitution. A pardon can restore certain civil rights lost through a conviction, while a commutation shortens a prison sentence; some commutations require review by the state Supreme Court before taking effect.
The governor's office released case summaries for each recipient alongside the announcement. Whether commutation recipients are released remains subject to parole board proceedings.
