爱荷华州交通厅更新西南立交夜间封闭安排：10月23日原定封闭取消、25日至27日另有封闭
爱荷华州交通厅第一区办公室10月22日发布更新通告，调整得梅因西南部「西南立交」（Southwest Mixmaster，I-35、I-80 与 I-235 交汇处）一带的夜间施工封闭安排，提醒途经西得梅因的驾驶人提前规划。
按最新安排，10月22日（周四）晚9时至次日凌晨5时，西行 I-235 通往南行 I-35、北行 I-35 通往西行 I-235、西行 I-235 通往北行 I-35 以及西行 I-235 通往 50th Street 的四条匝道封闭；原定于10月23日（周五）晚间的封闭已经取消，周五夜间出行不受这批施工影响。接下来，10月25日（周日）与26日（周一）晚9时至凌晨5时，Valley West Drive 东行方向的出入口匝道封闭；10月26日与27日晚10时至凌晨4时，东行 I-235 在南行 I-35 出口匝道至西行 I-80／南行 I-35 入口匝道之间路段全幅封闭。
交通厅提醒，施工区内交通违法罚款至少加倍，驾驶人应减速、保持车距并系好安全带；最新路况可通过 511ia.org、拨打 511（州内）或 800-288-1047（全国）以及 511 手机应用查询，也可订阅邮件与短信提醒。此次更新只调整封闭时间表，施工内容本身不变。

Iowa DOT Updates Southwest Mixmaster Overnight Closures: October 23 Closure Canceled, More Set for October 25–27
The Iowa Department of Transportation's District 1 office issued an updated notice on October 22 adjusting the schedule of overnight construction closures around the Southwest Mixmaster in southwest Des Moines — the interchange of I-35, I-80 and I-235 — and advised drivers passing through West Des Moines to plan ahead.
Under the updated schedule, four ramps were closed from 9 p.m. Thursday, October 22, to 5 a.m. the next morning: westbound I-235 to southbound I-35, northbound I-35 to westbound I-235, westbound I-235 to northbound I-35, and westbound I-235 to 50th Street. The closure originally planned for Friday night, October 23, has been canceled, so Friday-night travel will not be affected by this round of work. Next, the eastbound Valley West Drive entrance and exit ramps will close from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Sunday, October 25, and Monday, October 26; and from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. on October 26 and 27, eastbound I-235 will be fully closed between the southbound I-35 exit ramp and the westbound I-80/southbound I-35 entrance ramp.
The DOT reminded drivers that traffic fines at least double in work zones and urged them to slow down, keep their distance and buckle up. Current road conditions are available at 511ia.org, by calling 511 in-state or 800-288-1047 nationwide, and through the 511 mobile app, with email and text alerts also available. The update changes only the closure schedule, not the construction work itself.
