美国国务院（Department of State）10月22日发布通话纪要：国务卿卢比奥（Marco Rubio）当天与卡塔尔首相兼外交大臣 Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani 通话。
国务院表示，卢比奥重申美国对卡塔尔安全以及霍尔木兹海峡航行自由的承诺，并感谢卡塔尔持续的调解努力与密切伙伴关系，称其有助促进地区安全。卡塔尔通讯社报道，双方讨论了两国合作与战略伙伴关系以及地区最新局势，特别是通过外交努力降级紧张、增进地区安全与稳定的联合协调；Al Thani 表示卡塔尔支持一切旨在达成保障海上航行自由、实现地区持久和平的全面协议的外交努力。
Secretary Rubio Speaks With Qatari Prime Minister Al Thani: Reaffirms Commitment to Qatar's Security and Hormuz Navigation
Secretary of State Marco Rubio spoke by phone on Oct. 22 with Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, the U.S. Department of State said in a readout. The Secretary reaffirmed the United States' commitment to Qatar's security and freedom of navigation through the Strait of Hormuz, and expressed appreciation for Qatar's continued mediation efforts and strong and close partnership in promoting a more secure region.
Qatar's state news agency reported that the two discussed bilateral cooperation and the strategic partnership, as well as the latest regional developments, particularly diplomatic efforts and joint coordination to de-escalate tensions and enhance regional security and stability. Al Thani affirmed Qatar's support for diplomatic efforts aimed at a solution ensuring freedom of maritime navigation and a comprehensive agreement achieving lasting peace in the region.
