Follow-Up: Lea Michele in Talks to Reprise Rachel Berry in Glee Revival, THR Reports
Lea Michele is in talks to reprise her role as Rachel Berry in the "Glee" revival, according to The Hollywood Reporter. GSM reported on Oct. 21 that Disney+ and Hulu have ordered the revival series, produced by 20th Television, with no original cast announced at that time.
Michele was a central star of the original "Glee," playing Rachel Berry across the show's six-season run from 2009 to 2015. If a deal closes, she would be the first original lead publicly linked to the revival. Disney's announcement did not mention whether original creators Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan are involved.
