Los Alamitos Council to Hold Adjourned Regular Meeting Oct. 26: Labor Talks, Road Safety Plan on Agenda
The Los Alamitos City Council, in Orange County, California, will hold an adjourned regular meeting on Monday, Oct. 26, at 5:45 p.m. in the Council Chamber at 3191 Katella Ave., Los Alamitos, CA 90720.
According to the published agenda, the council will first meet in closed session for labor negotiations with the Los Alamitos Police Association. Presentations will include a check donation to Food Finders, an introduction of the new Business Watch program and Fire Prevention Week recognition. Consent-calendar items include a general plan amendment for 11021 Winners Circle, the 2026 Local Roadway Safety Plan, CDBG and SS4A grant applications, cost-sharing with the school district for field lighting repairs at Oak Middle School, and a Joint Forces Training Base pool grant. The council will also hold a first reading of Ordinance 2026-05, amending the city's animal control regulations.
