Secretary Rubio Speaks with NATO Secretary General Rutte on Black Sea Security, Russia-Ukraine Talks and December Ministerial Preparations
The U.S. Department of State released a readout on Oct. 22 stating that Secretary of State Marco Rubio spoke that day with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.
According to the readout, the two discussed Black Sea security, ongoing efforts to broker a negotiated settlement between Russia and Ukraine, and preparations for the NATO foreign ministers meeting in December.
The State Department did not release additional details of the call.
