爱达荷州缺席选票申请与提前选民登记10月23日截止：填妥选票须11月3日晚8时前送达
距11月3日大选不到两周，爱达荷州选民如计划以缺席方式投票，申请期限只剩一天。当地电台 94.7 Buck FM 在10月22日的晨间新闻简报中提醒：缺席选票申请须在10月23日（周五）下午5时前送达选民所在县的书记官办公室；邮寄申请以送达为准，只盖邮戳不够。申请缺席选票须先完成选民登记，可通过 VoteIdaho.gov 在线申请，也可前往县书记官办公室办理。
10月23日同时是提前选民登记的截止日，在线、邮寄与亲临登记均以当日下午5时为限。错过提前登记的合格选民，仍可在选举日当天到投票站登记并投票。填妥的缺席选票须在11月3日选举日晚8时前送达县书记官办公室才会计入；该州部分县在10月13日至30日提供提前亲临投票，具体时间地点各县不一，须向本县书记官查询。
今年爱达荷州选票阵容包括州长、州总检察长、州议会全部105个席位与3个国会席位，另有多项全州公投案和地方选举。选民可上 VoteIdaho.gov 查询登记状态、投票站位置和样本选票。
Idaho: Absentee Ballot Requests and Pre-Registration End Oct. 23, Voted Ballots Due by 8 p.m. Nov. 3
With less than two weeks until the Nov. 3 general election, Idaho voters who plan to vote absentee have one day left to request a ballot. Local station 94.7 Buck FM reminded listeners on Oct. 22 that absentee ballot requests must reach the voter's county clerk by 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 23; mailed requests must arrive by the deadline, as a postmark alone is not enough. Voters must be registered before requesting an absentee ballot, and requests can be made online at VoteIdaho.gov or through the county clerk's office.
Oct. 23 is also the pre-registration deadline for online, mail and in-person registration. Eligible voters who miss it can still register and vote at their polling place on Election Day. Completed absentee ballots must reach the county clerk by 8 p.m. on Nov. 3 to be counted. Some counties offer early in-person voting from Oct. 13 to Oct. 30, with times and locations set by each county.
This year's Idaho ballot includes races for governor, attorney general, all 105 state legislative seats and three congressional seats, along with statewide ballot measures and local contests. Voters can check their registration status, polling place and sample ballot at VoteIdaho.gov.
