San Gabriel's Second Small Business Saturday Set for Nov. 28: Business Sign-ups Close Nov. 13, First Six Get a City-filmed Promo
The City of San Gabriel, in Los Angeles County, California, has announced that its second annual Small Business Saturday program will take place on November 28, 2026. Local businesses are invited to sign up by November 13.
According to the city, the first six businesses that register by November 6 will receive a visit from a city crew to film a promotional video, plus 10 high-quality photos to use in their holiday-season marketing. Mayor Eric L. Chan voiced support for the program in the announcement, encouraging residents to support local small businesses during the holiday season.
Small Business Saturday, held on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, is a nationwide initiative encouraging shoppers to buy from local small businesses. San Gabriel is one of Los Angeles County's Chinese American hub cities, with many Chinese-owned businesses along corridors such as Valley Blvd; the city program offers participating merchants a direct promotional boost ahead of the holidays.
