Denver Seeks $40,000 Increase to Salvation Army Rapid Resolution Contract Through 2027
Denver is a city in Denver County, Colorado (a consolidated city-county). Denver's Department of Housing Stability is seeking a $40,000 increase to The Salvation Army's rapid-resolution contract, bringing the proposed total to $1,157,803 and extending services through December 31, 2027, in Denver, Colorado. Resolution 26-1493 was scheduled for Mayor-Council consideration on October 20.
According to the city's contract request, the program serves people experiencing housing instability or homelessness across Denver, with services including preventing housing loss through mediation and problem-solving, helping people find housing instead of entering shelter, and moving shelter residents into housing as quickly as possible.
