第20届 German Currents 德国电影节在洛杉矶落幕：12场放映、开幕片为《Fatherland》
第20届 German Currents 洛杉矶德国电影节于10月8日至13日在 American Cinematheque 的 Aero Theatre 与 Los Feliz 3、Wende Museum、Goethe-Institut Los Angeles 及 Gardena Cinema 等场馆举行，共12场放映。开幕之夜10月8日以红毯形式举行 Paweł Pawlikowski 新作《Fatherland》西海岸首映，该片由 Sandra Hüller 主演，放映后设导演座谈。

20th German Currents Festival Wraps in Los Angeles With 12 Screenings, Opening Film 'Fatherland'
The 20th German Currents festival of German film in Los Angeles ran Oct. 8-13 at the American Cinematheque's Aero Theatre and Los Feliz 3, the Wende Museum, the Goethe-Institut Los Angeles and Gardena Cinema, with 12 screenings. Opening night on Oct. 8 featured the red-carpet West Coast premiere of 'Fatherland' by Pawel Pawlikowski, starring Sandra Huller, followed by a conversation with the director.
The program included seven award-winning features, two documentaries, two youth films and the NEXT GENERATION SHORT TIGER short-film program, with several filmmakers attending in person for Q and A sessions. Organizers say German Currents has connected Los Angeles audiences with German and European co-productions for two decades.
