加州交通厅（Caltrans）第四区10月13日公布，37号州道（SR-37）将于10月23日（周五）晚10时至10月26日（周一）清晨5时实施55小时双向全封闭，封闭路段位于 Solano 与 Napa 县境内的 Mare Island 至 Sears Point 之间。
封闭前，10月21日与22日两晚7时至次日凌晨4时，西行方向先行单向封闭。施工内容包括拆除中央隔离带、安装临时护栏，把双向车流并入西行车道；转换完成后，施工队将集中抬高东行车道路面约3英尺，提升这条重要通道的防洪韧性。交通厅表示，此次抢工是为厄尔尼诺风暴季做准备的一部分，沿线已设置可变信息标志提示驾驶人提前规划行程。
交通厅另预告，11月13日晚10时至11月15日凌晨5时还将安排夜间次级封闭，拆除西行临时护栏并完成车流转换收尾。所有施工均视天气情况而定。
Caltrans: SR-37 Between Vallejo and Sonoma to Close for 55 Hours Starting Oct. 23 for Flood-Resilience Work
Caltrans District 4 announced on October 13 that State Route 37 will be fully closed in both directions for 55 hours, from 10 p.m. Friday, October 23, to 5 a.m. Monday, October 26, between Mare Island and Sears Point in Solano and Napa counties.
Ahead of the full closure, the westbound direction will close overnight on October 21 and 22, from 7 p.m. to 4 a.m. Crews will demolish the median and install temporary barrier to shift both directions of traffic onto the westbound lanes. Once the shift is complete, crews will focus on the eastbound lanes, raising portions of the roadway by about 3 feet to improve resiliency and address flooding concerns along the corridor. Caltrans said crews are expediting the work as part of emergency preparedness for El Niño storm season, and changeable message signs have been deployed across the region.
A further overnight secondary closure is scheduled from 10 p.m. November 13 to 5 a.m. November 15 to remove the temporary barrier and complete the traffic shift. All work is weather dependent.
