Verizon对iPhone双机共用号码功能收费每月10美元 为T-Mobile两倍 AT&T暂无跟进计划

Verizon to Charge $10 a Month for iPhone Number-Sharing Feature, Double T-Mobile's Price; AT&T Has No Near-Term Plans

Verizon confirmed in its iPhone Duo announcement on October 16 that it will charge customers $10 per month for Apple's iPhone Handoff feature, MacRumors reported. The feature, added by Apple in iOS 27, allows one phone number to be shared across two separate iPhones: users can switch the active device at any time, the number is active on only one iPhone at a time, and access to Verizon's 5G network is maintained while switching.

Verizon named the iPhone Duo and the iPhone 18 Pro models as compatible, and described support as "coming soon" without giving a launch date. Apple had previously said Verizon would add support for the feature before the end of the year.

Pricing and plans differ across carriers. U.S. carrier T-Mobile already supports iPhone Handoff and charges $5 per month, half of Verizon's price. AT&T, the third major U.S. carrier, recently suggested it has no imminent plans to support the feature. In the U.K., carrier EE said it will soon support iPhone Handoff: customers on its Full Works Plus plan will get it free, while other EE users can get it for £5 per month. Deutsche Telekom in Germany charges €6.95 per month, but includes the feature in its MagentaMobil L and XL plans.
