Brookhaven's Fourth International Festival Runs October 17-18 at Brookhaven Park, Headlined by Cumbiatron and K-Pop Group DROP
BROOKHAVEN, Georgia — The City of Brookhaven's fourth annual International Festival takes place Saturday, October 17, and Sunday, October 18, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Brookhaven Park, 4158 Peachtree Road NE, the festival's new location. The Latin American cumbia dance act Cumbiatron headlines on Saturday, October 17, and the five-member K-pop boy group DROP headlines on Sunday, October 18, according to the city. DROP released its digital single “Booster” on January 23, 2026.
The festival also features live cultural performances and music, art installations, international cuisine, a Kidz Zone and a global marketplace. Free shuttles run from Apple Valley Road behind the MARTA parking lot, and attendees are encouraged to bring water, chairs or blankets. Mayor Pro-Tem and District 4 Council Member John Funny welcomed everyone to the festival's fourth year celebrating the many cultures that call Brookhaven home, noting the new Brookhaven Park location is accessible via MARTA and the provided shuttles. Council Member Madeleine Simmons, who represents District 3, where the park is located, said the park is ready to show off its improvements to a wider audience since the city became its official owner.
Sunday's festivities kick off with a 5K walk/run benefiting We Love Buford Highway at the Peachtree Creek Greenway, 1793 Briarwood Road. The 501(c)(3) nonprofit works to preserve the multicultural identity of the Buford Highway corridor. The 5K is a USATF-certified course and a qualifier for the Northside Hospital Peachtree Road Race. Lily Pabian, the organization's executive director, said the 5K directly supports its Buford Highway Orchestra Program, a free afterschool music education program in which 96 young musicians have participated.
The Brookhaven International Festival began in 2023 as the city's first major event along the Buford Highway Cultural Corridor. Northside Hospital is a sponsor of this year's festival, and registration and updates are available through the city's festival page.
