纽约 Bronx 公寓楼枪击：走廊多声枪响致两名长者受伤，枪手与警方对峙后被捕

Two Elders Wounded in Bronx Apartment Building Shooting; Gunman Barricaded Himself, Then Was Taken Into Custody
NEW YORK — A man opened fire inside an apartment building in the Claremont neighborhood of the Bronx shortly before 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 17, the New York Police Department said. Police said the man fired multiple times in the building's hallway, striking a 70-year-old woman in the abdomen and a 60-year-old man in the torso. Both victims were taken to St. Barnabas Hospital, where they were listed in stable condition.
Police said the gunman then barricaded himself inside an apartment and was later taken into police custody. He has not been identified, and it is not yet known whether he had any relationship to the two victims.
The investigation is ongoing, and police have not released information about a possible motive.
