跟进：埃及众议院推迟表决协防沙特授权 议员称将延至周一继续审议

开罗——埃及众议院10月18日在新行政首都召开紧急闭门会议，审议总统 Abdel Fattah al-Sisi 提出的请求：在沙特阿拉伯提出请求时，授权埃及军方协助保卫沙特。两名议员对法新社表示，表决已推迟至周一（10月19日）继续审议，理由是让议员有更多时间发言讨论。会议由众议院议长 Hisham Badawy 主持。

按照埃及宪法第152条，派遣军队执行境外任务须先咨询国防委员会，并获得众议院三分之二多数通过。国防委员会同日由 Sisi 主持开会，总统府其后发表声明，称埃及对沙特给予「完全声援」，愿提供「一切必要和可能的支持」，并将加强外交努力推动局势降温——声明本身没有提及派兵。

截至周日，沙特方面没有公布任何正式请求。此前有议员在社交媒体上称国防委员会已批准派兵，但该说法未获总统府声明证实。埃及总统府10月18日稍早的声明表示，埃及愿向沙特提供一切必要支持，众议院原定当天下午召开紧急会议审议授权。周一的表决结果将决定授权是否成立。（GSM 据法新社报道）

Egyptian Parliament Postpones Vote on Saudi Defence Authorization to Monday, Lawmakers Say

CAIRO — Egypt's House of Representatives held an emergency closed-door session in the New Administrative Capital on October 18 to consider President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi's request for authorization to help defend Saudi Arabia should Riyadh ask. Two lawmakers told AFP the vote was postponed to Monday, October 19, to allow more time for debate. The session was chaired by Speaker Hisham Badawy.

Under Article 152 of Egypt's constitution, deploying troops abroad requires consultation with the National Defence Council and a two-thirds majority in the House. The Defence Council met the same day under Sisi, and the presidency said Egypt stood in full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and was ready to provide all necessary and possible support, while stepping up diplomatic de-escalation efforts; the statement did not mention sending troops.

As of Sunday, Saudi Arabia had not announced any formal request. An earlier claim by a lawmaker on social media that the Defence Council had approved a deployment was not confirmed by the presidency's statement. (GSM, via AFP)
