跟进：强台风「薔琵」路径仍存变数 天文台料香港本周后期天气转不稳定

强台风「薔琵」（Champi）继续在西北太平洋向西北偏西移动，香港天文台在特别天气提示中指出，薔琵其后路径仍存在变数——它可能横过吕宋海峡一带并进入南海，也可能在台湾以东海域转向偏北方向移动。天文台表示，会视乎薔琵的路径、移动速度，以及东北季候风的补充何时抵达，评估其对香港天气的影响。预料受薔琵外围下沉气流影响，华南沿岸周初天气酷热干燥；到本周后期，随着薔琵逐渐靠近及季候风补充抵达，广东沿岸风势将增强、阵风加大，并有狂风骤雨，海面亦会有涌浪。天文台呼吁市民留意最新天气预报，计划户外或海上活动时应注意天气变化。本站此前报道，薔琵周末擦过关岛南端后持续增强，菲律宾气象部门预料它最快周二进入菲律宾责任区，台湾气象署则评估最快周二晚至周三先后发出海上及陆上台风警报。

Follow-Up: Super Typhoon Champi's Track Still Uncertain; Observatory Expects Unsettled Late-Week Weather for Hong Kong

Super Typhoon Champi continues to move across the western North Pacific, and the Hong Kong Observatory said in a special weather tip that the storm's subsequent track remains uncertain: it may cross the Luzon Strait area into the South China Sea, or it may recurve northward over the seas east of Taiwan. The Observatory said it would assess the impact on Hong Kong based on Champi's path, forward speed and the arrival of a monsoon replenishment. Subsiding air from the typhoon is keeping the south China coast very hot and dry early in the week, but winds are expected to strengthen later in the week with squally showers and swells as the storm draws closer. GSM previously reported that Champi brushed the southern tip of Guam over the weekend; the Philippine weather bureau expects it to enter the Philippine area of responsibility by Tuesday, while Taiwan's weather agency may issue sea and land warnings on Tuesday and Wednesday nights.
