Weezer to Receive Billboard's Legend of Live Award at Live Music Summit in West Hollywood on November 10
Billboard announced on Thursday, October 15, that Grammy-winning band Weezer will receive Billboard's Legend of Live award at the 2026 Billboard Live Music Summit, taking place on Tuesday, November 10, at the 1 Hotel West Hollywood in California. The award honors artists with lasting contributions to live music and touring; past recipients include Usher, John Mayer, Elton John and Rush.
As part of the event, Weezer will join Billboard co-chief content officer Jason Lipshutz for a conversation. Also on the summit program, MSG Entertainment president Josephine Vaccarello, named Billboard's 2026 Touring Executive of the Year, will take part in a live taping of Billboard On The Record; agency and festival executives will lead panel discussions; and Hilary Duff will give an exclusive conversation. Billboard has not shared the exact time of Weezer's conversation or said whether the band will perform.
