San Diego市议会一致通过海洋世界总体规划更新 含300间客房酒店 烟花将大幅减少
San Diego市议会10月13日一致通过San Diego海洋世界（SeaWorld San Diego）总体规划更新（市议会议程第330项），这是该公园二十多年来首次更新总体规划。规划内容包括一座300间客房的酒店、一座特别活动中心，以及码头扩建。
市议会没有采纳市规划委员会提出的「五年内逐步取消烟花表演」的建议，但公园的烟花表演将大幅减少。目前海洋世界每年获准举行多达150场烟花表演；公园已向加州海岸委员会申请为期一年的试点许可，拟以无人机表演替代部分烟花——试点方案为最多110场、每场15分钟、每场动用多达1,000架无人机。

San Diego Council Unanimously Approves SeaWorld Master Plan Update With 300-Room Hotel; Fireworks to Be Sharply Reduced
The San Diego City Council on October 13 unanimously approved the SeaWorld San Diego Master Plan Update (Council Item 330), the park's first master plan update in more than 20 years. The plan includes a 300-room hotel, a special events center and a marina expansion.
The council did not adopt the Planning Commission's recommendation to phase out fireworks over five years, but the park's fireworks shows will be drastically reduced. SeaWorld is currently permitted up to 150 fireworks shows a year; the park has petitioned the California Coastal Commission for a one-year pilot of up to 110 fifteen-minute drone shows using as many as 1,000 drones each.
The update had previously been reviewed by the Planning Commission. (Reporting via the San Diego Union-Tribune)
