第25届 San Diego 国际电影节将于10月18日闭幕。主办方公布，本届电影节自10月13日起举行六天，共放映90部影片，来自22个国家与地区，其中8部为世界首映，投稿量达3,500部，创下电影节纪录。
本届展映的重点影片包括 Martin McDonagh 导演、John Malkovich 与 Sam Rockwell 主演的《Wild Horse Nine》，Peter Farrelly 的《I Play Rocky》，Anton Corbijn 导演、Helen Mirren 主演的《A Talent for Murder》，以及 Mike Leigh 的《Tender Loving Care》。电影节以在 La Jolla 的 Conrad Prebys 表演艺术中心举行的「星光之夜」致敬活动开幕，主要放映场地为 Westfield UTC 商场内的 AMC UTC 14 影院（4545 La Jolla Village Dr），另有 Solana Beach 的放映场次。

25th San Diego International Film Festival Closes Oct. 18 With 90 Films From 22 Countries
The 25th San Diego International Film Festival closes on October 18. Organizers said the festival, which opened on October 13 for a six-day run, is screening 90 films from 22 countries, including eight world premieres, selected from a record 3,500 submissions.
Gala highlights this year include Martin McDonagh's Wild Horse Nine, starring John Malkovich and Sam Rockwell; Peter Farrelly's I Play Rocky; Anton Corbijn's A Talent for Murder, starring Helen Mirren; and Mike Leigh's Tender Loving Care. The festival opened with its Night of the Stars Tribute at the Conrad Prebys Performing Arts Center in La Jolla, with main screenings at the AMC UTC 14 inside Westfield UTC (4545 La Jolla Village Dr) and additional screenings in Solana Beach.
The closing day's signature program is Culinary Cinema on October 18 at AMC UTC 14, pairing a cuisine-themed film with tastings prepared by local chefs. Single tickets and festival passes are sold through the festival's official site, with screening times listed on its schedule.
